Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Metal Fabricator to join our production team. In this role, you will assist with the cutting, shaping, and assembly of metal components using hand tools, machinery, and basic welding techniques. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking to grow in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, grind, and assemble metal components according to specifications
- Operate basic metalworking tools such as saws, grinders, drills, and presses
- Read and interpret simple blueprints, drawings, or work orders
- Perform basic MIG or spot welding (training provided, if needed)
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with loading/unloading materials and other general labor tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year of experience in a shop, manufacturing, or construction environment (preferred but not required)
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow instructions
- Basic understanding of metal fabrication tools and safety practices
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
