Job Highlights
$54.03 per hour. Day shift - Monday through Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Overtime available.
Install maintain and repair electrical systems in a 24/7 specialty chemical plant
Make sure that electrical systems are safe and running efficiently
Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors
Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
Repair large electrical equipment, such as industrial fans, large motors, or control systems
Install and test new equipment and systems
Repair and or maintain older, pre-existing systems
Read blueprints and follow diagrams of circuits and wiring
Use many different hand and diagnostic tools in testing and repairing equipment
Work independently or as part of a team
Requirements
Must have served in an accredited journeymen level Electrical Apprenticeship Program with current state electrical license preferred.
Minimum 4-years' of experience in an Industrial related industry working with low to medium voltage equipment high voltage experience a plus.
Must be willingto work both scheduled and unscheduled overtime as needed, including responding to after-hours calls.
Strong work ethic, high level of integrity and ability to work effectively under pressure
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
Self-starter, motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
Demonstrated skills using verbal and written communications; computer proficient with MS Office and other applications;
High regard for safety and the environment;
