Marketing Specialist

Emerald Home Furnishings is seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and motivated Marketing Specialist to join our Tacoma, WA team. This full-time, onsite position supports the marketing department in building and maintaining the Emerald Home brand through product imagery, content creation, database management, and sales support. The successful candidate will collaborate across departments while owning key marketing tasks that help bring our products to life online and in print.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain marketing databases and digital assets across CRM, SharePoint, Salsify, SAP, and Amp platforms.
• Produce high-quality product imagery through photography and 3D rendering using Imagine.IO.
• Edit and color-correct product images using Adobe Photoshop Creative Cloud.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop product copy, branding materials, layouts, and promotional graphics.
• Write engaging copy for emails, brochures, signage, presentations, and product descriptions.
• Fulfill marketing requests from Sales, E-commerce, and Customer Care teams.
• Support showroom setup, signage production, and trade show events.
• Assist with internal and external communications, including social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) and email campaigns (Mailchimp).
• Contribute to special projects and marketing initiatives as assigned.

Skills and Attributes

• Proficient in Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office 365.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable interpreting data.
• Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and initiative.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a committed team player.
• Interest in home furnishings or interior design, with an eye for style and trends.
• Comfortable performing occasional physical production work, including assembling printed materials, loading printers, and assisting with light furniture movement.
• Experience operating in a 3D rendering environment.
• Experience managing social accounts for a brand or organization.
• Familiarity with Mailchimp or similar email marketing tools.
• Experience tracking and organizing numerous concurrent projects, including image production and factory timelines.
• Experience with strategic communications planning, execution, and analysis.

Education and Experience

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Two (2) years of marketing experience (in-house experience preferred).

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
