What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vendor Procurement Specialist position at Emerald Facilities Management?
- In search of a Vendor Procurement Specialist to join an expanding facilities management firm. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills as well as have the ability to search and obtain vendors in various industries. Previous experience in a vendor/subcontractor management position is a plus, however not required. Excellent communication skills, organization, and follow-through are a must, as well as the ability to work under pressure and reach deadlines. Ideal candidates will also be able to demonstrate their ability to accomplish tasks with minimal oversight.
- At least 50% of your time will be spent on the phone with customers or securing new vendors and communicating with existing ones. You will be expected to relay information in an organized and succinct manner to others as well as be able to log correspondence in spreadsheet software programs. You will also be expected to to routinely follow up with vendors to monitor their compliance with contracts.
- Relevant experiences may include but are not limited to: Call center, commercial account manager, property preservation, facilities management, customer relations, lawn care, irrigation, and snow removal.
- Health insurance is available after a 30 day probationary period from date of hiring.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
