Qualifications
- Age 21 or older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with 6 to 12-year-olds
- Background check upon hire
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Experience with children: 1 year (Required)
Responsibilities
- These are part-time positions Monday to Thursday 2:00 to 5:30 pm (12:30-5:30 pm on Wednesdays) with additional hours available during school breaks and summer.
- Driving a van and/or walking to pick up after-school program students from elementary schools
- Supervising and providing a safe environment for school-age children, ages 6-12
- Providing assistance with tying their uniforms and belts
- Conducting light cleaning duties after the snack break
- Actively monitoring the karate class, ensuring students are engaged and attentive, and providing encouragement and support to boost their focus and motivation.
- Working as a team with the staff to create a fun and friendly program for children
- Leading, creating, and implementing age-appropriate arts & crafts and games
- Ensuring students are safely picked up

$23-$25 per hour (DOE)
