Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Professional (MHP) to join our Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT) team. This role provides ongoing clinical support to adults with serious mental illness living in residential care settings.
Unlike traditional outpatient therapy roles, the MHP functions as a stabilization-focused clinical support professional, helping clients maintain progress, reinforce treatment goals, and enhance long-term outcomes through consistent, team-based care. This position offers a structured weekday schedule, a collaborative clinical environment, and meaningful work with high-impact populations.
Responsibilities
Provide ongoing, in-person clinical support to adults with serious mental illness
Develop, implement, and review initial and ongoing treatment plans in collaboration with the IRT team
Complete aftercare and discharge planning documentation to support continuity of care
Participate in weekly multidisciplinary clinical staffing and care coordination
Collaborate closely with peer support specialists, nurses, prescribers, SUD professionals, and residential facility staff
Monitor client stability and communicate clinical concerns through established team protocols
Deliver services onsite at scheduled residential facilities within the local service area
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards
Skills & Qualifications
Meets Washington State Mental Health Professional (MHP) criteria
Master’s degree in a behavioral health–related field
Ability to qualify for a WA State credential (Agency Affiliated Counselor or associate license) if not licensed
Experience or interest in working with adults with serious mental illness
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to function effectively in a team-based, non-isolated clinical role
Comfort working in residential or community-based care settings
Reliable transportation for local travel

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
No weekends, evenings, on-call duties, or telehealth
Mileage reimbursed at $0.70 per mile, paid monthly (calculated to and from the clinic)
Paid clinical supervision provided when applicable
