What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apartment Maintenance Technician (HVAC Certified Preferred) position at Emerald Bay MGT?
We are currently seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team! We have recently purchased more properties and need to add to our already established team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks. THIS IS NOT AN HVAC ONLY POSITION, but an HVAC Certification is preferred. MUST be open to weekends and overtime as needed. PAY DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
- Maintain the grounds (including shoveling and salt in the winter)
- Estimate time and extent of repairs
- Communicate accurately with the Management team
- Punctual and great attendance
- Cleaning the apartments once they are turned - prepping for a move in.
- HVAC CERTIFIED**
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Experience with light plumbing, painting, and patching
- Some construction or remodel experience preferred
- Maintain material and supply inventory
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
- Must be willing to work at other Properties, though you will primarily be at your 'home' property
QUALIFICATIONS:
- GREAT ATTITUDE
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment - MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS
- Open to weekend and overtime as needed
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
