Job Summary
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our operations! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, preparing shipments, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through various warehouse processes. This is a new facility which will require a bit of experience with organization, hands on construction, willing to organize, and ensure receipt of items/inspecting them etc.
Duties
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately track inventory movements and update stock records
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and verifying items according to order specifications using ERP systems like AS400 or MRP software
- Manage shipping & receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatches and receipt of goods while adhering to trade compliance and international trade regulations
- Stock shelves efficiently, maintain organized storage areas, and perform regular inventory counts to support accurate stock levels
- Assist with packaging products securely for e-commerce orders and ensure all shipments meet quality standards
- Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with logistics teams to optimize shipping schedules and load/unload trucks
Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in shipping logistics, order fulfillment, and inventory management
- Valid certification in forklift operation; experience with reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers preferred
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Ability to operate RF scanners for order picking & packing tasks efficiently
- Strong understanding of trade compliance and international trade regulations related to shipping procedures
- Excellent physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving throughout shifts; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $18.00 - $22.50 per hour
