Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Roadway Engineer, located in Miami, FL. The Roadway Engineer will be responsible for designing and drafting roadway plans, drafting with Open Roads and FDOT Connect software suites, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with FDOT standards. Daily tasks will include preparing engineering reports/plans, coordinating with other disciplines to achieve project goals, direct CAD operations, and managing project timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Roadway Design and Drafting skills
- Project Management abilities
- Knowledge of FDOT standards and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in design software such as Open Roads and FDOT Connect
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work on-site in Miami, FL
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum requirement is to have the Engineering Intern (EI) license
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
