What are the responsibilities and job description for the Demolition Operations Manager position at EME INDUSTRIAL SERVICES LLC?
The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation on our demolition projects. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with employees. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related fields. Pay will be discussed & based on experience in construction industry. We cover the whole state of NC & VA, so you also must be comfortable traveling if needed. A company vehicle will be provided to you if you meet our requirements.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
- Manage the daily functions of the demolition projects
- Prepare and reevaluate processes
- Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed
- Making sure employees are working proficiently
- Managing demolition jobs (sometimes multiple at a single time)
- Sometimes you will need to work on jobs too when needed
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to speak Spanish is preferred but not required (Must be able to speak English)
- Strong ability to multitask
- Able to read plans / blueprints
- Able to work weekends if needed
- Clean driving record / experience pulling trailers
- Knowing how to operate equipment (excavator, skid steer, scissor lifts, etc.) is preferred but not required
