Your Role
As a Production Technician Operator, you’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining chemical delivery systems and supporting manufacturing operations. You’ll work a rotating 12-hour shift and perform both routine and complex tasks, including:
- Safely handle hazardous materials and operate container delivery systems
- Complete required EH&S and regulatory training, including HAZWOPER First Responder Awareness Level
- Label and transport waste materials to designated storage areas
- Perform container change-outs using specialized equipment
- Maintain gas and chemical delivery systems, and related equipment
- Follow all site safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to wear a full-face air purifying respirator and other PPE as needed
- Lift and move cylinders weighing up to 50 lbs (with assistance)
- Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 years of experience in a chemical facility or industrial environment
- Experience in chemical manufacturing operations
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for handling chemicals
