Responsibilities
- Assist in technical design for a variety of civil engineering transportation projects
- Complete design and reports
- Coordinate with utility companies and other agencies
- Calculate quantities and develop construction cost estimates
- Participate in quality assurance and reviews of design plans, specifications, and estimates
- Participate in public involvement activities
- Occasionally travel to project sites and other EMCS locations as required

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
- 2 years of relevant experience
- EIT certification preferred
- Familiarity with INDOT standards, practices, and policies a plus
- Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
