Job Title: Program Manager, EMS HVAC National Accounts
Job Summary: EMCOR Mechanical Services has an opportunity for a Program Manager, EMS HVAC National Accounts in Tempe, AZ or Norristown, PA. Ability to travel up to 50% is required. This is a hybrid role
The primary focus of the EMS HVAC National Accounts Program Manager is the supervision and implementation of new contracts, ensuring execution of the Departmental VP’s strategic intent and standardization across new accounts.
This role will partner with the national sales team to assist in standardizing our sales and implementation processes. This will include both national service contracts as well as accounts with self-performed HVAC projects.
Related tasks include managing transition process improvement and standardization efforts, documentation on accounts from the sales process through go-live, as well as the training, mentorship and professional development of any current or future team members working with or reporting to this position.
The EMS HVAC National Accounts Program Manager must be seen as a subject matter expert to both sales and operations team members, customers, problem solving and communication resource to our field teams, and a thought partner to our senior leaders and sales team members. The EMS HVAC National Accounts Program Manager exercises a sophisticated level of business acumen, multi-tasking and project leadership skills requiring a strategic mindset, discipline, excellent communication abilities, analytical skills, self-motivation, and creativity.
This position will report to the GM of EMS HVAC National Accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor progress on all sales activities and open transitions, ensuring achievement of project schedule, budget and scope, that best practices are being leveraged, risks are being properly escalated and opportunities for improvement and training are being identified and addressed
Management of assigned projects from initiation to closing, including the development and maintenance of all project documentation, providing status updates (quantitative and qualitative) along the way to Company executives, all while staying within intended schedule and budget
Ensure all current or future Project Managers are properly equipped and trained to perform their duties
Assessing company and department processes and providing recommendations for improvement. Specific tasks include assessing and articulating the “current state”, analyzing opportunities for improvement, documenting and articulating recommended improvement, gathering support for and implementing new or improved processes
Developing and growing strong relationships across the organization and at all levels within the organization
Traveling to EMCOR national account hubs as well as EMCOR service offices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a field requiring critical thinking, leadership and communication skills) from an accredited college. Strongly prefer MBA/PMP or other certifications
Five to seven years of experience in facilities maintenance Project Management environment influencing change indirectly with team members who do not have a reporting relationship to the role. Preferably in the national accounts HVAC industry.
Familiarity with HVAC systems.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must possess a Real ID and/or Passport for domestic air travel from your state.
Must be willing and able to travel 50% to EMCOR national account hubs as well as EMCOR service offices.
