Compensation Range: $36.00 - $48.00 per hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Competent at operating control software applications.
- Develop simple databases based on a written sequence of operation.
- VAV’s, FCU’s, and AHU’s
- Read and identify mechanical equipment on floor plans.
- Commission projects with assistance from senior-level engineers
- Fill out commissioning documentation.
- Identify mechanical equipment for drawings and in the field.
- Chillers, Boilers, Pumps, AHU’s, FCU’s, VAV’s, and EF’s
- Identify equipment deficiencies.
- Understand simple electrical control circuits.
- Controller I/O and 24VAC power
- Understand simple networking principles.
- Coordinate work with Mesa electricians
- Understand and identify the contractual scope of work.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience.
- 4 years of relevant experience, with at least two years as an automation technician.
- Working knowledge of at least one HVAC controls systems (preferably Delta, JCI or Andover).
- Knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Ability to interface with customers and contractors at a supervisory and management level.
- Engineering skills required include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and computer programming.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good computer skills, understanding of controls networking.
- A valid driver’s license.
