Job Title: -- Director of Treasury
Job Summary: - This role is located in the company’s Norwalk, CT headquarters and will report to the Treasurer. This is a hands-on, yet strategic role that will concentrate on cash management, cash and net interest expense forecasting, debt compliance, implementing best practices and enhancing policies and procedures of the company’s treasury operations. This position will work closely with the local finance teams of EMCOR’s 100 operating subsidiaries and EMCOR’s bank group.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities --
- Cash Management
- Oversee the cash management process and assist the local finance teams with implementing new banking products and services.
- Manage the company’s daily cash, debt servicing, and investment policy
- Expertly administer the company’s treasury management system (GTreasury)
- Manage the company’s weekly, monthly, and annual cash flow forecast
- Assist in enhancing company’s Purchasing Card and Virtual Credit Card programs and maximizing related cash rebates
- Maintain excellent working relationships with the company’s commercial bankers
- Continuously review cash management processes and identify progressive changes which create efficiencies, reduce costs and mitigate risk of fraud
- Interest Rates
- Prepare the net interest expense forecast and budget, and related quarterly reporting
- Assist in managing interest rate risk
- Monitor financial market conditions and report on interest rate trends
- Debt Covenant Compliance
- Monitor debt covenant compliance and prepare related calculations and certifications in accordance with credit agreement.
- Treasury Policies
- Assist in problem solving and developing creative approaches to streamline treasury processes and reducing costs while maintaining internal controls
- Assist in updating, maintaining and communicating treasury policies and procedures
- Additionally, the Director of Treasury will complete or assist with other ad-hoc projects, analyses and reporting
Qualifications: --
- A minimum of 10 years of related experience that includes treasury management within a large corporation
- Proficiency in administering cash management and treasury management systems. Experience with GTreasury is preferred
- An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related area
- CTP credential is preferred
- Excellent problem solver who embraces intellectual curiosity
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to analyze, evaluate and form independent conclusions
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel

Compensation Range: $164,000 - $195,000
Other Compensation: this position is bonus eligible
