FLSA Status: Full-Time / Non-Exempt – $38.00 to $43.70 per hour with required experience. Additional retirement plan of $13.99 per hour with 12,000-hour experience in the electrical trade.

General Duties And Responsibilities
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps.
- Repair and install electrical devices such as receptacles, light fixtures, light switches, lighting ballast, motors, etc.
- Assists in keeping building common and electrical spaces in a neat, orderly and safe condition.
- Accomplishes work in accordance with blueprints and specifications, and national and local codes. Updates as-built drawings as necessary, according to department policies.
- Attend Toolbox safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention, ethics, etc.
- Obtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification.
- Extended hours or weekend overtime may be available.
