Emco Wheaton Retail Corporation designs, produces and sells equipment used by retail gasoline stations worldwide. Emco Wheaton Retail's product line includes nozzles, vapor recovery products, containment manholes and overflow protection devices for equipping retail gasoline stations. Emco Wheaton Retail also sells products to groundwater management customers. Started in 1973 by Emco Limited, the company enjoys a good reputation for innovation and reliability among the major petroleum companies throughout the world. In 1996 a group of industry executives led by the current president, Jim Lawrence, purchased the retail division from Emco Limited. Emco Wheaton Retail’s facilities, a single location for warehousing, manufacturing and administration, are located in Wilson, North Carolina.
Summary Of Essential Job Functions For a Production Assembler
- Repetitive and non-repetitive assembly of small parts.
- Perform daily tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- Use hand held and power tools in assembly operations.
- Pull raw materials for assembly of products.
- Maintain acceptable attendance record.
- Possess manual dexterity to efficiently assemble small parts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
- Minimum of one year’s assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be flexible and be willing to work in any area assigned.
- Able to work overtime, including Saturdays, as required.
