- Check identification: Verify that all patrons are of legal age to enter the establishment and that IDs are authentic, refusing entry if an ID is suspected to be fake.
- Enforce rules: Ensure guests follow the venue's rules and policies, such as dress code or behavior guidelines.
- Control crowds: Manage the flow of people at the entrance and within the venue to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
- Handle conflicts: Mediate disputes and de-escalate potentially volatile situations between patrons or with staff.
- Remove intoxicated individuals: Prevent entry for those who are visibly intoxicated and, if necessary, escort them out to maintain safety.
- Provide security: Act as a deterrent to criminal activity and respond to any incidents that may occur.
- Maintain the premises: Monitor the area inside and outside the venue for any safety hazards or conditions that need to be corrected.
