Position Overview

Embry Merritt Womack Nance, PLLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Operations Coordinator to support the firm’s human resources and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced professional environment and enjoys balancing people-focused responsibilities with operational support.

The Administrative Operations Coordinator plays a key role in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, and office systems coordination. This individual will serve as a primary point of contact for routine employee inquiries while ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations.


Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & Policy Support
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and workplace concerns
  • Assist in communicating and enforcing firm policies and procedures
  • Support documentation for employee discipline and performance matters
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive personnel information
Recruitment & Hiring
  • Screen resumes and employment applications
  • Schedule and assist with initial candidate interviews
  • Coordinate interview logistics with firm leadership
  • Manage candidate communications and recruitment documentation
Onboarding & Employee Administration
  • Prepare new hire paperwork and onboarding materials
  • Coordinate employee benefits enrollment and track deadlines
  • Support employee orientation and training documentation
  • Maintain and update internal training resources
Payroll & Records Management
  • Track PTO, leave balances, and payroll-related data
  • Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR records
  • Assist with payroll coordination, including bi-weekly approvals
HR Compliance & Support
  • Monitor updates to employment laws and HR regulations
  • Assist with maintaining compliance documentation and records
Technology & Office Systems
  • Coordinate employee technology purchases and setup
  • Assist with onboarding-related tech setup (equipment, access, etc.)
  • Provide basic troubleshooting support alongside IT
  • Track software subscriptions and coordinate vendor support
Administrative Support
  • Maintain organized HR and administrative records
  • Assist with internal reporting and documentation
  • Support firm-wide administrative initiatives as assigned


Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in administrative, HR, or office operations roles preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar systems; ability to learn HR platforms
  • Comfort with basic technology troubleshooting
