Embracing Wellness PLLC is a trauma-informed, holistic small group practice providing culturally responsive care to clients in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. We’re expanding our team and looking for a grounded, self-aware clinician to grow with us.

Role: Remote Therapist (FT/PT)

Location: 100% Remote

Compensation: Starting at $50/hr

We’re seeking a passionate clinician to provide virtual psychotherapy to adults in DC, MD, and VA. You are committed to anti-oppressive, culturally attuned care, work well independently, and value collaboration, consultation, and community. This is a full or part-time remote role. The Therapist will provide virtual counseling and therapeutic services to clients, tailoring treatment approaches to meet individual needs.

• Provide high-quality, trauma-informed virtual psychotherapy.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in SimplePractice (EHR).
• Use standardized measures to track client progress as clinically indicated.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and case consultation.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, PCPs, and community providers.
• Contribute to practice-wide quality improvement initiatives.
  

• Active licensure in DC, MD, and/or VA
• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology.
• Trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive.
• Experience with BIPOC, immigrant, LGBTQIA communities preferred.
• Comfortable with telehealth & technology.
• Organized, communicative, and self-directed.
• Committed to ethical, anti-oppressive care.
• Successful background & reference check required.
