Role Description
This is a part time to full time hybrid Marriage and Family Therapist role based in New York, NY, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, you will provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions tailored to clients’ unique needs. You will assess clients’ emotional and relational challenges, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions that align with our depth-oriented and inclusive therapeutic approaches. Additionally, you will maintain client records, participate in regular clinical consultations, and contribute to a supportive and collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Relationship Counseling and Family Therapy to guide clients in resolving relational dynamics and fostering healthier connections
- Strong skills in Counseling and Psychology to address emotional and behavioral health concerns
- Expertise in Mental Health to support individuals and families facing challenges such as anxiety, trauma, and life transitions
- Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York, or eligibility for licensure, is required
- Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities such as EFT, AEDP, or EMDR is a plus
- Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills to support diverse client needs
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with ethical guidelines of the profession
