Duties
- Provide a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their concerns, medical history, and treatment goals
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate treatment plans for pain management and relaxation
- Maintain detailed treatment records, including client progress and treatment notes in compliance with medical terminology standards
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients about their comfort levels and adjust techniques accordingly for optimal results
- Stay current on industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant certifications such as CPR and anatomy knowledge
Experience
- Proven experience as a licensed massage therapist with a strong background in various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments
- Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
- New massage therapist looking to build clientel, start own business for theirselves.
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate effectively
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and client communication strategies for diverse populations
Will be joining a team of established massage therapist, will be taking on any new patients that call into the business, room rent not paid, furnished room or make your own, linens are provided, access to a well established wellness team.
Pay: $30.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
