What You'll Do

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll:

  • Evaluate and treat pediatric clients with a variety of developmental, sensory, motor, behavioral, and functional needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that focus on meaningful, real-life outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with caregivers, teachers, physicians, and other therapy professionals
  • Support children in developing:
  • Sensory regulation skills
  • Fine motor skills
  • Motor planning abilities
  • Activities of daily living
  • School readiness skills
  • Self-advocacy and independence
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and creative therapeutic approaches
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and team collaboration
  • Educate and empower families with practical strategies they can use outside of therapy sessions
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

Qualifications

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current or eligible North Dakota Occupational Therapy license
  • Pediatric experience preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commitment to family-centered and collaborative care
