Position Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Surgical Technologist with clinical experience to scrub into outpatient Uterine Artery Embolization (UAE) procedures in collaboration with an OB/GYN practice. You’ll act as first assist to the interventional radiologist while ensuring sterile technique and supply readiness for each case.

Responsibilities
- Scrub into outpatient interventional radiology procedures as 1st assist to the physician
- Ensure strict sterile technique during all procedures
- Manage supplies: confirm availability for each procedure day and plan ahead for future schedules
- Support patient care by assisting in efficient flow and turnover
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless procedures and continuous improvement
Case Detail
- Outpatient procedures performed in an office setting
- Minimally invasive procedures on sedated patients with fluoro imaging
- Patient flow includes pre-op checks, 1–2-hour procedure, and ~30 minutes in post-op recovery
- Expect 4-6 cases per procedure day
Qualifications
- Surgical Technologist certification or equivalent clinical background (RN, MA, Cath Lab Tech, IR Tech
- Strong understanding of sterile technique
- Experience scrubbing into cases and managing supplies preferred
- Experience with angiography cases a plus
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn embolization-specific workflows
- Strong sense of ownership and commitment to continual improvement

Schedule and Work-Life Balance
- Part-Time: 2-6 procedure days per month (typically 1-2 days per week)
- Scheduled work hours: 7:30am-5:30pm
- No Call! No Weekends!
Pay: $31.00 - $37.00 per hour
