To be a successful Records Coordinator you must become able to do the following always:
1. Perform copying, faxing, filling, scanning, and uploading related to paper and electronic files.
2. Database maintenance and ensure data entry is accurately entered.
3. Assist both the Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement and Data Services Departments.
4. Process and order identifying documentation as required by state regulations.
5. Become proficient in the Electronic Care Record organization structure and data entry.
6. Assist in preparation for internal and external audits.
7. Manage the file room, ensuring client records are maintained and organized.
8. Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines.
How you will spend your time in this job:
- 20% Administrative Assistance
To qualify for this job, you need to have:
1. High School diploma or GED required.
2. Work Experience - Prefer successful secretarial or clerical experience involving multiple tasks and responsibilities.
3. Must pass a background check, fingerprinting, and physical and drug screening.
4. Maintain company-required training.
5. Ability to travel, drive company or personal vehicle including at night. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. The employee is subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally, inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.
