To be a successful Connect 4 Success Assistant Manager you must become able to do the following always:
- Ensure a trauma informed focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for staff, youth, and those served through knowledge, sensitivity, respect, and a focus on resilience and recovery.
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the Connect 4 Success Day Services program and operations.?
- Coordinate with facilities to ensure all sites are maintained and safe for youth.???
- Ensure staff receive all required training and create staff development plans.??
- Step into ratio as needed to ensure youth safety.?
- Create staff schedules for Professional Success Coaches and Transitional Care Coaches and allot staffing resources to ensure day program sites are adequately staffed.
- Update site census daily to ensure there is a safe therapeutic milieu at each day program site.
- Create safety plans, in collaboration with case management staff, to ensure safety while in day services.
- Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines.?
- Ensure the center is clean, safe, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Facilitate recreational, educational, and life skills programming.
- Support youth in setting and achieving personal goals toward independence.
- Promote a safe and inclusive environment, especially for LGBTQ and marginalized youth.
- Coordinate referrals for housing, health care, employment, and legal services.
- Represent the center at community meetings and events.
- Assist with contract compliance.
- Maintain confidentiality and data privacy in all client records.
How you will spend your time in this job:
- 50% Department Administrative Support
- 30% Training?
- 20% Coverage for shifts to ensure client to staff ratios.
To qualify for this job, you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in social services field preferred.??Other related degrees considered.
- Work Experience - Two years working with at-risk youth in a residential setting. One year experience supervising a team of 6 .?
- 21 years of age. Must pass a background check, fingerprinting, and physical and drug screening.?
- Maintain company-required training.?
- Physical working conditions - Ability to travel, driving company or personal vehicle including at night.??
- Ability to do occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Able to walk upstairs.? Ability to work flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.? Subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally, inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.??
