Company Description
Ember Psychotherapy Collective is seeking a part-time licensed therapist to provide high-quality mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, and/or families in a boutique, fully self-pay, woman-owned psychotherapy practice. This role is ideal for a clinician who values ethical, client-centered care and is looking to work within a supportive, collaborative group practice environment. You can be located anywhere in the world for this telehealth role.
Therapists in this role will have the opportunity to focus on clinical work while being supported by administrative systems, consultation, and a collegial team. You will be joining a newly launched telehealth location of a practice with an established presence in other states.
This role is part-time (at least 8 clinical hours per week) with potential growth in the future.

Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and/or families
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards
- Collaborate with other clinicians or providers and participate in consultation as needed
- Uphold professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and best practices in mental health care including maintaining HIPAA Compliance and confidentiality
- Remain in communication with Ember Psychotherapy Collective’s administrative team and attend team meetings
- Participate in Active Online Community
- Maintain licensure requirements
Required Qualifications
- An active full, independent clinical license in the District of Columbia (e.g., LPC, LICSW, LMFT, PhD, PsyD, or equivalent)
- Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to ethical practice
- Ability to work independently while also engaging in a team-based environment
- Comfort with telehealth platforms
- At least 1 day a week evening availability, however, you can make your own schedule otherwise
Nice-To-Haves
- Training and experience in IFS, EMDR, and/or couples therapy
- Additional full, independent clinical license(s) in Maryland (e.g., LCPC, LCSW-C, LCMFT, PhD, PsyD, or equivalent) and/or Virginia (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, PsyD, or equivalent)
- Multilingual clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $108 - $143 per clinical hour with bi-weekly direct deposits
