We are seeking friendly, organized, and professional Hosts and Hostesses to join our team at Ember Lotus, a new Asian Fusion Brazilian Steakhouse opening soon in Pooler, GA. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host/Hostess sets the tone for the dining experience by providing a warm welcome and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate is personable, attentive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously as they arrive.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments efficiently to optimize table flow.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
- Communicate effectively with servers and management to ensure seamless service.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide accurate information about the restaurant and menu.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entryway, and waiting area.
- Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, or seating accommodations.
- Support the front-of-house team during busy shifts to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
