Overview
Program Director is responsible for supervising child placement activities and all casework services. In addition to ensuring that licensing requirements are met, the program director is responsible for planning, managing, and controlling the agency’s daily activities, as well as responding to staff and the residents.
Program Director will also assist with all normal parental duties and responsibilities for youth and home, including, but not limited to: providing 24-hour supervision for youth, cooking, some cleaning, transporting to and from school and appointments, administration of medication and documentation, shopping; assist the children in meeting the goals and objectives of their individual service plans, promote the physical and emotional well-being of the children, and other designated duties within reason. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, caregiving, and experience working with youth.
Responsibilities
- Create and supervise youth with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including, cooking, some cleaning, budgeting, meal planning and time management.
- Review all progress notes, reports, documents that are submitted daily by staff. Review medications and following care plans given by physicians.
- Review and create meal preparation logs and ensuring nutritional needs are met.
- Create and Implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Conduct face to face meetings with residents 3 times a week to ensure goals are being met and /or needs.
- Assist with transportation to and from school, appointments, work, church and youth activities.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment through regular inspections of home and ensuring youth are completing their daily chores.
- Respond promptly to emergencies by administering first aid or CPR when necessary
- Work collaboratively with team members, families, social workers, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications - Program Director shall possess at least one of the following :
- a. A doctorate degree in a human services field or in administration or business;
- b. A master’s degree in a human services field or in administration or business and one year of work experience in a human services agency;
- c. A bachelor’s degree in a human services field or in administration or business and at least two years of work experience in a human services agency.; or
- d. Six years of work experience in a human services field or a combination of college credits and work experience for a total of six years. Applicants may receive credit for college coursework in business, management, or a human service field with 15 credit hours substituting for 6 months of work experience not to exceed 60 credit hours.

- Ability to work independently as well as communicate clear instructions to staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Program Director must have reliable transportation

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
