Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient care by utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practices, and the patient’s perspective in care delivery.
- Support new nurses and team members by offering mentorship and guidance.
- Demonstrate proficiency in nursing practices while embracing a learning culture in a fast-evolving clinical environment.
- Participate in orientation and training programs, including simulation and competency validation.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards for patient safety and clinical quality.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program or a state-approved equivalent (if less than 3 years of experience).
- Active state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (CPR for the Professional Rescuer), with certification valid through at least 60 days after hire.
- A minimum of 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a critical care or progressive care unit is a plus, but not required.
- Interest in pursuing specialty certifications and further professional development.
