Job Overview

This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The RN will report to the department's Director or Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients across various age groups, from neonates to older adults.
• Apply clinical judgment and the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide high-quality care.
• Monitor, record, and report changes in patient conditions and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, post-treatment care, and wellness strategies.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
• Handle and administer medications safely and in accordance with policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), or Handle with Care are desirable
• Previous experience in women’s health or maternal-child nursing is an asset
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment
