Embassy Suites is currently seeking a talented and passionate Omelet/Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. As an Omelet/Breakfast Cook, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests by preparing delicious and visually appealing breakfast dishes, with a focus on omelets and other breakfast specialties. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals with a passion for cooking and a desire to work in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of breakfast items, with a focus on omelets, according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet or exceed guest expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to coordinate timing and ensure smooth service.
- Assist with stocking and replenishing breakfast buffet items as needed.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and guidelines for food preparation, handling, and storage.
- Provide friendly and efficient service while interacting with guests in the breakfast dining area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, or similar setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and familiarity with omelet station operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak breakfast hours.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation principles.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
