What you will be doing
In this role you will:
- Assign Work And Supervise Team Member Performance In All Front Office Procedures Including, But Not Limited To, Guest Check-In And Check-Out, Lobby Traffic And Flow, Luggage Assistance, Telephone Operator Services And Determining Room Rates And Availability.
- Respond To Guest Inquiries And Resolve Issues And Complaints In A Timely, Friendly And Efficient Manner.
- Support And Assist Team Members In Handling Guest Inquiries And Requests And In Resolving Guest Complaints.
- Schedule, Assign Daily Work, Lead Pre-Shift Meetings, Inform And Train Team Members.
- Monitor, Observe And Assist In Evaluating Team Member Performance.
- Monitor Lobby Traffic And Adjust Staffing Accordingly.
- Anticipate The Guests’ Needs, Change Direction Quickly And Multi-Task.
- Uphold The Highest Standards Of Cleanliness, Sanitation, Safety, And Conduct.
- Ensures Proper Communication Within The Department And Other Departments.
- Enter Room Blocks For The Sales Department On An As Needed Basis.
- Prepare Performance Reports Related To The Front Office Operations As Needed By The Front Office Manager.
- Other Job Duties As Required By Management.
- Ensure That All Hilton Standards Are Met On A Consistent Basis.
- Ensure That Reward Standards Enrollments Are Met Each Month.
- Minimum 2 Years Hotel Front Desk Experience Required.
- Excellent Computer And People Skills.
- Hilton OnQ Experience Preferred, Not Required.
- Previous Supervisor Experience Preferred, Not Required.
- Must Have Flexible Availability For Am, Pm, Nigh Audit Shifts, Including Weekends And Holidays.
- Basic Reading, Writing And Math Skills.
Requirements
Requirements include basic reading, writing and math skills. May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: regularly required to talk , hear and interact with guests.
Able To Stand For Up To 8 Hours, Lift Up To 15Lbs. And Push/Pull Up To 11Lbs. With Or Without Reasonable Accommodations.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to two years in related experience and/or training.
Must have OnQ hotel experience.
