The property offers 40,000 square feet of flexible event space, including unique outdoor patio areas. With 300 spacious two-room suites and a location just 3.5 miles from Walt Disney World™ Theme Parks, it serves business and leisure guests alike. The hotel features a 15,000 square foot ballroom, a 5,000 square foot junior ballroom, multiple boardrooms, and 28 breakout rooms, providing extensive options for meetings and special events.

Role Description The Catering Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Orlando, FL, responsible for generating and managing catering and event business for the hotel. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, preparing proposals and contracts, and conducting site visits with clients to showcase event spaces and services. The role involves coordinating with clients on event details, menus, room setups, and timelines, and collaborating closely with the food & beverage, banquet, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution. The Catering Sales Manager will monitor event performance, maintain accurate records in sales systems, and focus on building long-term client relationships that support revenue goals and high guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Proficiency in Catering Sales, with experience in lead generation, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
• Event Planning capabilities, including managing event timelines, room layouts, and coordination of multiple functions.
• Sell and service small/intimate events such as weddings, special occasion events and local meetings
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, menus, and banquet service standards to support successful catered events.
• Savvy knowledge of leveraging social media for solicitation, lead generation, and industry engagement.
• Growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to think outside of the box and present creative solutions to challenging scenarios.
• When necessary, participate in trade shows, community, and professional industry organizations to maintain high visibility/exposure for Hotel.
• Previous experience in hotel catering sales, hospitality sales, or event management preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Comfort with sales and event management software, MS Office applications, and reporting tools.
• Ability to work on-site with a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends based on event needs.
• Ability to assimilate complex information and understand financial data

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
