Job Summary:
The Kitchen Manager at Embassy Suites - Brunswick is responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our hotel's restaurant and banquet facilities. This individual will work closely with the Sales team to ensure the highest level of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel's breakfast, dinner, and banquet kitchen
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
- Create menus and ensure menu items are consistent with brand standards and guest preferences
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, controlling costs and minimizing waste
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts
- Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff to maintain consistency and improve skills
- Enforce safety and sanitation standards and ensure compliance with all health codes
- Collaborate with the Catering leader to create and execute special events and menus
- Manage food and beverage budgets, forecasting and analyzing expenses
- Handle guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a kitchen management role
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage cost control and inventory management
- Ability to create and execute menus that meet guest expectations and brand standards
- Experience with scheduling, training, and managing a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and related restaurant software
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
