POSITION SUMMARY
Windsor Hospitality is seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Lounge Waitstaff member to serve food and beverages to guests in our hotel lounge. In this informal, guest-facing role, you will take orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar, keep a watchful eye on your guests throughout their experience, and ensure every interaction leaves a positive impression. You will uphold Windsor Hospitality’s brand standards and core values — Growth, Resourcefulness, Integrity, and Teamwork (GRIT) — in every interaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Present the menu to guests, answer questions, and make knowledgeable suggestions regarding food and beverages.
2. Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
3. Relay orders to the kitchen and service bar; serve courses and beverages promptly and professionally.
4. Observe guests throughout the dining experience to fulfill additional requests and identify when the meal has been completed.
5. Total the bill and accept payment or direct guests to the cashier.
6. Clear and reset counters or tables at the conclusion of each course as needed.
7. Greet all guests and respond to requests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
8. Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company requirements pertaining to the responsible service of alcoholic beverages.
9. Maintain uniform and name badge standards at all times while on property.
10. Support and adhere to Windsor Hospitality’s core values, mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy.
11. Perform all other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
12. High school diploma or GED equivalent required, or an equivalent level of education and experience.
13. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking work environment.
14. Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
15. Ability to communicate effectively with guests, teammates, and supervisors in a professional manner.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
16. Professional appearance and demeanor maintained at all times during service.
17. Physical ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift including lifting, bending, stooping, walking, pushing, and pulling; able to stand for extended periods.
18. Willingness to pitch in and support co-workers across tasks as needed — true team-player mindset.
19. Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisors accurately and promptly.
20. Attentive and guest-focused service skills; able to anticipate needs and respond before being asked.
21. Basic math skills to total bills and process payments accurately.

23. Positive, warm, and engaging guest presence; able to create a relaxed and welcoming lounge atmosphere.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Medium work. Exerting up to 10–50 pounds of force occasionally. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree throughout the shift, with frequent pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Successful performance in this position requires reliability, a strong work ethic, and consistent adherence to Windsor Hospitality’s standards and policies. Regular attendance is essential to this role. Employees with irregular attendance or tardiness will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. All associates are expected to fully comply with Windsor Hospitality rules, regulations, and brand standards at all times.
