Snow Removal Laborer

Position Type: Seasonal / On-Call (As Needed)

Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour

Embassy Landscape Group is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals to join our snow and ice removal team for the upcoming winter season!

These are seasonal, on-call positions, meaning employees will only work during snow and ice events. Hours will vary depending on weather conditions, and there are no guaranteed weekly hours.

We are looking for reliable individuals who can respond when winter weather hits and help keep sidewalks, walkways, and commercial properties safe and accessible.

Snow Removal Laborers – $22.00/hour

• Shovel snow from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, and other designated areas.

• Spread ice melt and salt to prevent slippery conditions.

• Assist crews with general snow and ice removal duties.

• Work outdoors in winter weather conditions.

Sidewalk Shovelers / Truck Drivers – $25.00/hour

• Drive company trucks to assigned snow removal locations.

• Shovel and clear sidewalks, entrances, and pedestrian areas.

• Apply salt and ice melt as needed.

• Safely transport crew members, equipment, and supplies.

• Must have a valid Missouri Class E driver's license OR a valid regular Kansas driver's license.

• Must be dependable and available to work on short notice during snow and ice storms.

• Must be willing to work early mornings, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.

• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in freezing temperatures and winter conditions.

• Ability to shovel snow, lift equipment, and remain active for extended periods.

• Must have reliable transportation to report to work when called.

• Previous snow removal experience is a plus but not required.

This is NOT a regular full-time or part-time position. Work is strictly weather-dependent and will only be available when snow or ice removal services are needed.

Candidates must understand that shifts may be scheduled with limited notice and that work hours will vary throughout the winter season.
