Weekend (Back Up) on Call Caregiver

Embark Care is seeking a highly reliable, flexible, and dedicated On-Call Caregiver to support urgent and last-minute staffing needs. This position is essential to our agency’s operations, and we are looking for someone who truly understands the importance of being dependable and ready to step in at any moment.

Current Case – Back Up Weekend on call- Greenville Texas

Requires consistent assistance with daily care, safety, and household support, and Transfer Assistance is a Must, as well as Hoyer lift, and must be able to be available for a 24hour shift if needed.

Schedule:

• Satursday 8AM- Sunday 8PM ( You must have full availability during this window.)

• $100/Guarantee incentive to be available for on call shifts,
• Embark Care will provide a company vehicle and gas card to complete all on-call assignments.
• If you do not respond to an on-call assignment or choose to refuse a shift, your on-call status will be reevaluated, and you will forfeit the incentive guarantee. Pay for that week will be limited to the standard hourly rate for completed service hours only.

• Assignments may include:

  • Last minute 1-hour shifts

  • Immediate live-in shifts

  • Urgent fill-ins

  • Supervisory wellness visits

  • Office support tasks

Responsibilities

Personal Care & Safety Support:

• Incontinence care and hygiene assistance

• Standby or hands-on help with showering when needed/Wheelchair Transfer Assistance

• Mobility support and fall prevention

• Monitoring for confusion and providing gentle redirection

• Overall safety supervision

Homemaking & Routine Support:

• Light housekeeping

• Meal preparation as needed

• Assistance with errands and transportation

• Companionship and supportive interaction

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year verifiable caregiving experience (required)

• Two industry-related professional references one personal reference (required)

• Must be dependable and punctual

• Comfortable assisting clients receiving hospice support

• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance

• Must pass a background check
