Embark Care is hiring a dependable and experienced caregiver for a permanent, ongoing part-time schedule in Henderson, TX (Rusk County). We are seeking someone who is reliable, patient, and committed to providing consistent care.

Current Case – Henderson, TX (Rusk County)

This veteran client lives with his spouse and requires support due to generalized weakness and increased fall risk. The client benefits from standby assistance during showers, light personal care, and routine household help.

Schedule:

• Mondays & Fridays

• 3 hours each day (likely afternoons)

• Permanent, ongoing weekly schedule

Small dogs are present in the home.

Pay and Employment Details

• $15/hr

• Part-time position

• Paid semi-monthly via direct deposit

• Additional cases may be offered as they become available for caregivers seeking more hours

Responsibilities

Personal Care & Safety Support:

• Standby assistance during showers

• Light personal care as needed

• Fall prevention and supervision

• Mobility encouragement and safety monitoring

Homemaking & Routine Support:

• Light housekeeping

• Meal preparation

• Errands and transportation as needed

• Companionship and general support

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable caregiving experience (required)

• Two industry-related professional references and one personal reference (required)

• Dependability and strong attendance are essential

• Must be comfortable with small dogs in the home

• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance

• Must pass a background check
