Mental Health Therapist - Part Time

Hourly Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 an hour DOE

Responsibilities

• Personalized Caseloads: Manage a focused caseload of 6 clients, providing high-quality, individualized care with a commitment to family programming and parent coaching.
• Facilitate Individual, Family, and Group Therapy: Conduct therapy sessions that integrate trauma-informed care and systemic approaches to create meaningful change in families.
• Develop comprehensive discharge plans for students, ensuring thorough review with both students and their family members.
• Maintain compliance with treatment standards through meticulous & timely documentation of notes and adherence to MTP (Master Treatment Plan) standard requirements.
• Client-Centered Approach: Provide client-centered care, tailoring therapy to meet individual, group, & family therapy needs.
• Cultural Competency: Apply developmentally appropriate and culturally competent care, addressing the unique psychological needs of each client.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active Virginia licensure or eligibility for one of the following:
• LMSW, LGPC, LGMFT (Associate/Provisional)
• LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT (Fully Licensed)
  
  
  

Preferred Experience:

• 1 year of clinical experience in a residential, IOP, or PHP setting.
• Experience using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
• Passion for working with adolescents, young adults, and families.
• Willingness to obtain a CAQH profile and NPI during onboarding.
