- AM: 7:00am - 5:00pm
- or
- PM: 1:00pm - 11:00pm
- Days: Same for both AM/PM
- Week 1:
- Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2:
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Responsibilities
- Daily routines : Support students in following structured schedules and activities with encouragement and accountability.
- Crisis intervention : Use verbal de‑escalation techniques to manage emotional or behavioral escalations; apply approved physical interventions (holds/restraints) when clinically necessary to ensure safety.
- Crisis prevention : Apply proactive strategies to reduce risk and provide crisis management when necessary.
- Treatment alignment : Ensure student progress aligns with individualized treatment plans developed by therapists.
- Positive modeling : Model constructive behaviors and attitudes, reinforcing a healthy environment for clients.
- Documentation : Maintain consistent, thorough records of client interactions, incidents, and progress.
- Team engagement : Participate in staff and house bonding activities to foster teamwork and community cohesion.
- Housekeeping tasks : Perform light daily tasks to maintain a clean, organized living space.
What we are looking for:
- High‑acuity response : Comfortable managing verbal/physical outbursts and emotional dysregulation in a residential setting.
- Emotional regulation : Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and set firm, healthy boundaries.
- Growth mindset : Willingness to learn and grow; candidates with strong boundary‑setting and passion for adolescent mental health are encouraged to apply, even without direct experience!
- Adolescent experience : Background working with adolescents in behavioral health, residential, or crisis environments preferred.
- 21 years of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Able to pass criminal investigation background check
- Current driver's license
- Ability to learn CPR and First-Aid.
