Job Summary
Highly renowned custom builder with 30 years of experience in the market looking to expand our team. Position offers a salary plus bonus based on performance and project success. We are seeking a highly skilled, organized, and experienced Construction Superintendent/Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, ability to read and understand construction plans, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and project management tools.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel to ensure project milestones are met.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, designers, owners, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Review plans, permits, and specifications to execute project requirements.
- Implement project scheduling techniques to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Manage project budgets effectively and honestly.
- Provide clear communication with team members regarding project updates, challenges, and solutions.
- Provide honest and accurate reporting to upper management on production, quality, budget execution, and issues on the projects. Provide a clear picture of what is going on daily and strive for top teer performance from all involved.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent/Manager or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting and managing financial aspects of construction projects.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
