CARE & WELLNESS ASSISTANT
Elysian Senior Homes of Lake City is looking for dedicated and compassionate caregivers to provide direct care for the residents at our Assisted Living with Dementia Care facility. Elysian of Lake City provides care for up to 70 residents.
Positions Available:
- Full-Time Evening (2p-10p): 72 hours per pay period
- Part-Time Evenings (2p-10p): 40 hours per pay period
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma
- At least 18 years old
- Previous experience is preferred, but not required! We will provide all the training you will need.
Essential Job Duties
- Provide direct care to Assisted Living and Dementia Care residents
- Dressing assistance
- Grooming assistance
- Bathing assistance
- Feeding/mealtime assistance
- Escorts and/or transfer assistance
- Light Housekeeping – common spaces and resident apartments
- Resident laundry
- Medication administration
- Reporting and documenting all changes in condition, incidents, etc.
Position Details
- 8-hour shifts
- Every-Other Weekend Rotation: work one weekend (Sat/Sun) every two weeks
- Eligible for overtime (when working more than 40 hours per week)
- Eligible for holiday pay (double-time)
- Eligible for benefits (if working at least 20 hours per week)
- Paid training & orientation
**Wage is determined by relevant experience and certification(s) held**
**Caregivers who have their CNA, TMA, or LPN are paid at a higher rate than non-CNAs.
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
