Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently using Square POS systems.
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment to ensure food safety standards are met.
• Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed.
• Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about menu items, and promote sales opportunities.
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product levels throughout your shift.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment focused on teamwork, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
• Flexible Schedule
• Experience with POS systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning equipment.
• Reliable work ethic with a focus on punctuality and professionalism.
