Overview

We’re seeking a reliable, proactive floater to support our daycare team with meal preparation, classroom stocking, cleaning, and staff coverage. This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes, keeps things running smoothly, and steps into classrooms when needed. You’ll be a key part of our closing crew, ensuring our center ends each day clean, stocked, and ready for tomorrow.

Shift

Monday - Friday

10:30am - 6:30pm

Responsibilities

Kitchen & Snack Support

• Prepare and serve daily meals and snacks according to center guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in food prep areas
• Wash dishes and sanitize surfaces after meals
  
  
  

Classroom & Facility Support

• Stock classrooms with supplies, and other essentials
• Follow the closing checklist to clean and reset classrooms
• Take inventory of supplies weekly and report low stock to admin
• Handle laundry at the center (bedding, bibs, towels) and ensure items are returned to correct rooms
  
  
  

Staff & Child Support

• Provide scheduled breaks for classroom teachers
• Step into classrooms only when needed to maintain ratios or assist with transitions
• MUST be willing and able to work with all age groups (Infants - 12 years)
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare, food service, or cleaning preferred
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and move quickly between tasks
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Flexibility, reliability, and a team-first attitude
• Must pass background check and meet licensing requirements
