Overview
We are seeking an experienced Functional/Scrum Lead to support a complex Azure cloud migration initiative. This role will bridge business and technical teams, ensuring successful delivery through Agile methodologies while maintaining compliance with ITAR regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) as Scrum Lead
- Partner with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business and system requirements
- Translate functional requirements into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Support Azure cloud migration efforts, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Coordinate testing activities, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking
- Ensure compliance with ITAR data regulations and related security controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, product, compliance)
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and drive issue resolution
- Apply systems thinking to analyze complex processes and dependencies
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Functional Lead, Scrum Master, or similar role in complex IT projects
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud migration initiatives
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
- Solid background in test coordination and execution
- Familiarity with ITAR regulations and data handling controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on highly regulated environments (government, defense, aerospace)
- Exposure to security and compliance frameworks
- Scrum certification (CSM, PSM) or equivalent
- Must be a US Citizen (required for ITAR compliance)
