Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product demos when needed
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented according to merchandising standards
- Conduct product demos to promote new or featured items and upsell where appropriate to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain store cleanliness by performing custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and ensuring the store environment is safe and inviting
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling procedures and basic retail math calculations
- Communicate effectively with team members using phone etiquette and clear instructions to ensure smooth daily operations
Experience
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all
- Supervising experience is a plus, especially if it involved training or guiding team members in customer service or stock management
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to better serve diverse customer needs
- Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail environments will help you excel in this role
