General Purpose:
To support Elwood Staffing branches and the Accounting department by processing payroll and billing in a timely andaccurate manner. Consistently support and promote the company mission, five key beliefs, philosophies, and provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job.
Essential Functions:
- Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner
- Process and deliver customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Follow internal control guidelines / standard processes
- Be detail oriented and a problem solver
- Apply analytical skills to identify and resolve variances from expected outcomes
- Identify areas to improve efficiencies and reduce costs
- Prepare special project analyses as requested
- Provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors or Associates degree in accounting or related field. Extensive experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to change.
- Positive attitude, team mentality, goal oriented.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Communicate effectively and tactfully to all levels, both internally and externally.
