2nd shift Welder

We're hiring a 2nd Shift MIG Welder for a local roll-forming manufacturer that produces steel products. You don’t need years of welding experience to be considered. If you have hands-on welding experience from work, school, or a vocational program and you're ready to learn, this could be a great opportunity to get your foot in the door!

2nd shift Welder Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $20.25 /hour
- Full Time work available
- Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 03:00pm to 11:30pm)
- Perform MIG welding on steel parts and components.
- Fit, position, and weld steel pieces according to production requirements.
- Assist with fabrication and assembly of steel products.
- Use grinders, saws, and other hand and power tools.
- Measure and inspect parts to ensure proper fit and quality.
- Grind and finish welds as needed.
- Move and handle steel materials throughout the workday.
- Inspect completed welds and finished products for quality.
2nd shift Welder Qualifications:
- Some previous MIG welding experience or welding education required.
- Recent high school graduates with welding classes will be considered.
- Must be comfortable working with steel and in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively throughout the day.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
