Quality Control Inspector II Details:
- Contract position
- $25.00 /hour
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)
- Perform receiving and final inspections on incoming materials and finished cable assemblies, connectors, and precision components to ensure compliance with customer, internal, and regulatory standards
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and electrical testing using tools such as calipers, multimeters, and HIPOT/Megger equipment, following established inspection plans and procedures
- Review and verify documentation including purchase orders, Certificates of Conformance, test reports, and production records to ensure accuracy, traceability, and completeness
- Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials, supporting corrective actions and maintaining quality standards throughout the production process
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications while accurately recording inspection results and collaborating with Quality and Manufacturing teams
Quality Control Inspector II Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for cable assemblies, connectors, and precision components
- Experience using inspection and test equipment, including calipers, tape measures, multimeters, HIPOT testers, and Megger tools
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy, with the ability to identify defects and follow quality procedures independently
- Preferred experience with cable assemblies, connectors, electrical testing, and tight-tolerance components in a production setting
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
